Lucknow Weather | Heatwave alert issued for UP districts, no rain in sight for Lucknow

Jatin Shewaramani

With daily temperatures exceeding 40°C, venturing outdoors during the afternoon is akin to entering a blazing microwave oven. Regrettably, Lucknowites can expect no respite from the relentless heat or the absence of refreshing rain showers in the upcoming week. Additionally, strong gusts of hot, dry loo winds will persist throughout the city, particularly during peak hours.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has recently issued a yellow alert, signalling the likelihood of heatwave conditions in 28 districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Banda, Jhansi, Prayagraj, and Kaushambi, in the upcoming days.
