Lucknow Weather | Localites sweat amid scorching heat; Check out pitch report for the big game today

The forecast is also calling for a warm weekend ahead.

The temperatures in the Uttar Pradesh capital have seemed to take an upward trajectory with the heat starting to take a toll on Lucknowites. As mid April is approaching fast, the mercury has almost been touching 40°C. In UP, Agra, Ghaziabad and Noida weather is also following closely.

With predicted day temperatures soaring to 35°C and max 38°C on April 12 (Friday), the forecast is also calling for a warm Saturday night. However, this might act as a sign of relief for the IPL Lucknow outfit, Lucknow Super Giants, as they face the Delhi Capitals at Ekana Sports City Stadium on Friday evening.

Weather prediction for the weekend

The skies are expected to be clear and part clouds to make way for heat, with negligible chances of rain. With this, the pitch report looks good as temperatures are slated remain in the 23-38°C range (as per The Weather Channel).

For Saturday, local-ites can expect hazy sunshine, a very unhealthy UV index, poor air quality, low precipitation chances and temperatures between 24-38°C. Whereas, April 14 will bring a blend of cloudy weather and sunshine, high UV index, up to 10% precipitation chances and 24-37°C mercury range.
