On its 102nd Foundation Day, which is celebrated on November 29, Lucknow Zoo kickstarted 'Party on Wheels' for children. From now on, people can rent coaches from the old toy train to throw parties and conduct get-togethers.

The entire train can be booked at just ₹5,100 for parties of up to 50 people at a time. Furthermore, children below 12 years of age who are attending the party will get free entry to the zoo.

People can choose from three different menus for the party, featuring per-plate costs ranging from ₹300 to ₹500. Apart from being a way to collect funds for the welfare of animal inmates, this new initiative will also allow Lucknowites to party in a unique setup.

Check updates on the relocation of Lucknow Zoo to Kukrail Forest

It is noteworthy that Lucknow Zoo is preparing to say goodbye to its Hazratganj location. But according to fresh updates, shifting of Lucknow Zoo to Kukrail Forest will, in all likelihood, take more time than initially anticipated.

Even though the permission to relocate animals to the new location has already been received, the complete shifting of the zoological garden can take up to 2.5 years. One of the new features of the new Lucknow Zoo will be the night safari, covering an area of 465 acres.
