Lucknowites, grab the trendiest decor pieces from THIS pottery paradise in Chinhat!

Khushbu Kirti

Nestled in the bustling Chinhat lane, lies one store that'll transport you into a world of calm and beauty. Once you reach near Matiyari Chauaraha, embark on the Kotwali road and walk past a few terracotta pots and ceramic vendors, until you a spot on your right glaring letters that say 'Paras Pottery Emporium'.

This hidden gem encloses in itself a universe of plant pots, glassware utensils, terracotta products and so much more. Glazed with love and shining in distinct colours, these items come in the cutest of shapes and sizes. And looking at the wide collection of items here, you'd surely be wishing to take everything home!

All about the hueful world of Paras Pottery Emporium

We don't kid when we say that you can find the entire animal kingdom here. The vessels, containers, and pots, all come in the form of elephants, fishes, owls, camels, monkeys, frogs, pigs and all that you can think of. All of these are made in various sizes and, thus, have a vast price range (starting from ₹80 and going on to ₹850).

Moreover, fans can rejoice because Groot plant pots (at ₹190) also embellish this shop! 'Artistic gamlas' come in the shape of shoes, ghosts (yep, you read that right - it's pretty cool), and more.

The plates (going from ₹190 to ₹350), cups, handi set of 3 pieces (₹700), flat bowls, tray sets (₹850) and other utensils are all 100% microwave safe, tells us Shashi Bhushan, the owner of Paras Pottery. Oh, and, there are clear glass aachar vessels or achaardanis (starting at ₹75 for the lil ones and going to ₹1,050 for the large ones) too!

The bathroom sets here (showcasing four pieces, namely dispenser, holder, soap case and brush holder) are marked at ₹750.

Must-visit for plant parents!

If you're a plant lover, or have a Bonsai plant as your pet, or are just an enthusiast with a love for quirky, earthy ceramics, this hidden gem is for you!
