Lucknow's CCS International airport to halt night flight operations for four months

No flights will operate between 9:30 pm to 6:00 am at Lucknow's CCS Airport, starting from Feb 23rd.

Authorities at the CCS International Airport of Lucknow are now gearing up for the mega upgradation and expansion work set to kick off next month. As part of this, flight operations between night hours i.e. 9:30 pm to 6:00 am will remain halted, starting from February 23.

With this, all the airlines have also been directed about the non-availability of the runway for 8.5 hours till July 11, and to facilitate the passengers accordingly.

Authorities to also work on other infrastructural developments

Reportedly, the authorities will work on the upgradation of the existing runway at the airport in accordance with the expansion in passenger and cargo load during the coming years.

Furthermore, the authorities will be working on other infrastructural developments including the construction of three new taxiways, new ground lights for better night operations, aircraft turn pad expansion and runway end safety area, in order to facilitate better operations at the airport.

Notably, the construction of the new terminal 3, with the inclusion of state-of-the-art facilities is also underway at Lucknow's CCS International Airport.
