Lucknow's Charbagh station gets ISO certification; platform ticket will now cost ₹30

The Charbagh railway station of Lucknow has received ISO 14001:2015 certification aimed to improve the environmental management system of the station. The certificate will be valid for 3 years which will aid the station in improving its water conservation system, sewage water treatment plant and solar power generation.

Furthermore, the price of platform tickets at Lucknow's Charbagh station has been increased to ₹30 from the previous ₹10. This has been done to bring ease to the passengers by reducing unnecessary movement on the platforms.

This platform ticket price hike was also announced for the railway stations in Varanasi, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Akbarpur, Shahganj, Jaunpur, Bhadohi, Pratapgarh and Unnao.
