Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana International Cricket Stadium or Lucknow‘s Ekana Stadium will host the third edition of the UPT20 League from August 17 to September 6. This marks the second consecutive year Lucknow will stage the entire tournament.

Second Year Running

Despite earlier speculation about a possible hybrid format with Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) confirmed on Thursday that all 34 matches will be played exclusively at Ekana Cricket Stadium. Reportedly, the opening ceremony is set to feature top Bollywood performers.

Last month, a mini-auction for the league was held in Lucknow, with six franchises taking part. The tournament continues to be a platform for rising talent, with players like Sameer Rizvi, Vipraj Nigam, and Zeeshan Ansari securing IPL contracts after impressive showings in previous editions.
