Lucknow is set for a smoother ride as major road renovation work kicks off in several areas. The foundation stone for repairing and reconstructing five key roads, including stretches in Vikas Nagar, Khurram Nagar, and Rahim Nagar have been laid.

The Public Works Department will carry out the work, which aims to address long-standing issues with potholed and damaged roads. Key routes like the Khurram Nagar–Vikas Nagar turn, Mahanagar–Faridi Nagar stretch, and the Rahim Nagar road via Kukrail Bandha are part of the upgrade.

The restoration of these dilapidated roads is being fast-tracked for public convenience. Residents can expect smoother, safer commutes once the work is complete.
