Lucknow's traffic woes are finally easing up with the new 1.9 km long, four-lane Munshipulia Flyover stretching from Polytechnic till Indira Nagar Sector-16 crossing. Construction of the flyover began in April 2023, and while the grand inauguration is yet to happen, commuters are already reaping the benefits.

This flyover section is a part of a much larger corridor, stretching from Munshipulia to Ayodhya Road. Built at a whopping ₹170 crore, the corridor is designed to smoothen out traffic snags through Indira Nagar, Vikas Nagar, Jankipuram, and Kursi Road.
