The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow is set for a showdown today as Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) square off against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in what promises to be one of the most talked-about matches of IPL 2025. While LSG come in riding a winning streak, CSK languish at the bottom of the table after a string of defeats.

Ticket frenzy and house-full signs

Ticket counters, both online and offline, have seen a mad rush for days. Prices have soared, availability has disappeared, and now, even personal networks are being tapped for elusive passes. The stadium is fully booked, and a sea of yellow is expected to flood the stands as Dhoni fans turn a home fixture into an away-day experience for LSG.

Weather forecast: Clear skies, comfortable conditions

As the teams prepare for action, the weather is also expected to play its part favourably. According to AccuWeather, the match will begin with temperatures around 31°C, cooling down to 27°C by the end. Humidity levels will remain between 35% and 49%, with clear skies and almost no chance of rain, ideal for both players and spectators.
