Following the inauguration of Terminal 3 at Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA), passenger traffic has seen a significant surge since April. In the first nine months of FY 2024-25, Lucknow Airport welcomed over 52 lakh (5.21 million) passengers, reflecting a 5.7% increase compared to 49.3 lakh passengers during the same period in FY 2023-24.

Cargo operations also experienced notable growth, with a 7% increase compared to the previous year. Between April and December 2024, the airport handled 16,655 metric tons (MT) of cargo.

The upgraded Terminal 3, inaugurated on March 31, 2024, is designed to enhance airport operations and accommodate the growing passenger traffic. As of now, the construction of Phase-2 of Terminal 3 is underway, which will further expand the facilities to meet future demands.
