RBIH & IIM Lucknow's EIC to jointly organise Fintech Futurepreneurs Bootcamp across 6 UP cities

In an effort to breathe life into budding ideas by future entrepreneurs in the Fintech sector, while transforming fintech education, the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) has joined hands with Indian Institute of Management Lucknow’s Enterprise Incubation Centre (IIML EIC). Through the able partnership, a large-scale UP Fintech Futurepreneurs Bootcamp will be organised across six Uttar Pradesh cities, February 8 onwards. This will be the first edition of the bootcamp.

"Through this series of bootcamps, RBIH would effectively engage with the student community in Uttar Pradesh via dedicated sessions on Design Thinking and Fintech 101," RBIH announced.

All about the events

This will be an intensive programme, aiming to cultivate skills, knowledge, and mindsets of aspiring entrepreneurs, leading to success in the dynamic financial technology-entrepreneurship landscape in the state. The six cities selected for the pilot bootcamp are Lucknow, Kanpur, Noida, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Meerut. Here are the allotted dates for the same:

Feb 8 - Gorakhpur

Feb 9 - Varanasi

Feb 22 - Kanpur

Feb 23 - Lucknow

March 14 - Meerut

March 15 - Noida

"With the pre-incubation support of IIM Lucknow... we look forward to interacting with and energising the youth in India’s heartland, UP," RBIH said.

The event will include, as its highlight, an exclusive masterclass revolving around design thinking. It will also comprise workshops on national-level government policies and programmes around start ups.
