Soon, you'd be able to escape the monotonous wait that ensues every time you have a delayed train. All because new gaming zones are coming up at the Lucknow railway station. Long periods of waiting often also result from Indian families being too punctual, just saying!

Under the Indian Railways' plan of creating gaming zones at railway stations of numerous cities, Lucknow stations will follow the lines of those in Delhi, Vishakhapatnam and so on.

Keep your children busy with the entertainment junctions at Lucknow Junction, Aishbagh, Badshanagar, Basti, Gonda and Gorakhpur stations of North Eastern Railway.

A little entertainment detour by Indian Railways

Arcade booths, video games, and gaming machines will be installed at the aforementioned. From animated games to table soccer, chess, table tennis, carrom and other facilities, the gaming zone will be fully equipped.

Gaming zones will be created at six railway stations in the first peg. These booths will be situated close to the platforms so that it doesn't take time for people to board their trains after doing a little entertainment detour.
