Khushbu Kirti

Yet another treat for the bibliophiles in Lucknow, the National Book Trust (NBT) is back with a kickass book fair, this time in collaboration with the Lucknow Development Authority and Lucknow Municipal Corporation. The Gomti Book Festival, as the name suggests, is being hosted on the banks of the mighty river at Gomti Riverfront Park and will continue till November 6.

In a special reading by the river, you can select from over 80 book stalls by various publication houses from across India.

So much to look forward to!

Take the cultural aficionado for a walk alongside river Gomti and be a part of the dope panel discussions, talent hunt, various competitions, cultural programmes, story writing, and so much more.

Chilling under the 'book trees'

While you roam around the book street, flipping through the pages, breathing in the fragrance of the books, and hoarding your favourite ones, you will also see these 'book trees'. Yep, that's unique, too. Some 10 tress have been converted into shelters where you can actually chill under the lush canopy of the tree and read!
