Lucknow is currently experiencing extreme heat conditions, characterized by continuously rising temperatures and a notable absence of rainfall. Contrastingly, various weather channels have reported a significant increase in maximum temperatures in Lucknow, soaring by 6 degrees within a mere 9-day period.

According to the Meteorological Centre in Lucknow, today's forecast predicts a maximum temperature of 42.4°C, exceeding the normal by 2.2 degrees. Adding to the discomfort, warm loo winds are expected to sweep through the city, accompanied by humid conditions during the night hours. Furthermore, forecasts from the Meteorological department offer little respite, with no indications of rainfall until May 20.

In light of these conditions, residents are urged to exercise caution and take necessary precautions. It's crucial to stay hydrated, avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day, and seek refuge in shaded or air-conditioned areas whenever possible.

Readers are advised to stay updated on weather advisories and follow recommended safety measures to cope with the ongoing heatwave.
