'Tis time for joy & holiday cheer! Explore these delectable DIY Christmas desserts for merry parties

Khushbu Kirti

It's finally THAT time of the year, people... The time of joy, holiday cheer and sheer recreation cuz Christmas is around the corner and we cannot keep calm!

And for this grand festive fervour, we have some ideas to make your special X-Mas parties and get-togethers the 'sweetest'. Invoke the baker/cook in you, get your hands on the ingredients and peruse through this list of Christmas desserts that you can make right at your homes!

Of Pies & Donuts: Christmas is all about love!

Christmas is all about holiday-themed cookies, red and white stockings full of candies, 'wine'derful plum cakes, frosty cupcakes and cutesy gingerbread.

All that is fine and dandy, but let's introduce some funkier desserts that you can prepare at home as easily as they come!

Our first recommendation is Christmas Donuts, for which all you need are half a dozen eggs, flour, baking powder, milk, canola oil, nutmeg, lemon extract and, of course, sugar! Aand you're done in merely 25 minutes.

Additionally, you can explore the humongous world of pies. Containing a symphony of Christmas flavours, a mouth-watering Christmas Pie can add all the pomp you need for your parties! This one requires more ingredients (check out the link above) than others but we promise it is worth it!

Some more ho-ho-holiday delicacies!

If anything, no one can go wrong with a Classic Banana Pudding. And if you go with a Banana Pudding, all you need is milk, sugar, cream, eggs, cornstarch, vanilla extract, wafer cookies and, obviously, bananas!

And, finally, in about 4 hours, you can have your own Christmas Fudge! With some delish chocolate chips, butter, heavy cream, vanilla extract, salt and X-Mas sprinkles, you can taste the goodness of merry times!

If you'd like, gather some of your helpful 'elves' and get on to cooking in spirit with the holiday season!
