Traffic Police rolls out diversions as National Jamboree arrives in Lucknow from Nov 23–29

The expected footfall is nearly 40,000 attendees.

Lucknow is gearing up to host the 19th National Jamboree in Vrindavan Colony. Given the expected footfall of nearly 40,000 attendees, the Traffic Police has announced nine diversions to note. Restrictions came into effect on Thursday and will remain in place from November 23 to 29.

Nine diversions to keep in mind:

  1. Sector-14 Canal Bridge Crossing to Sector-19 (Piprikheda): Rerouted via Sector-12 Canal Bridge, Gyan Sarovar Canal Bridge, Chiraiyabagh, Telibagh or Canal Road.

  2. Sector-19 (Piprikheda) to Sector-16 and Sector-15: Diversions via Kalli Paschim Police Lines Road, Utrethia Shaheed Path Railway Crossing and Sector-7C.

  3. Sector-16 (Sapna Enclave) to Sector-15: Diversions via Sector-19, Trauma Centre Crossing, Sector-17 Canal Bridge and PGI T-point.

  4. Sector-18 (New Trauma Centre) to Sector-16 and Sector-19: Diversions via Sector-17 Vrindavan Yojana and Kalli Paschim Police Lines Road.

  5. Sector-12 to Sector-15: Rerouted via Gyan Sarovar Canal Bridge, Chiraiyabagh, Telibagh or Canal Road.

  6. Gyan Sarovar Canal Bridge to Sectors 11, 12 and 15: Diversions through Chiraiyabagh, Telibagh or Canal Road.

  7. Sector-8 Underpass to Sector-10 and Sector-15: Diversions via Utrethia Railway Crossing or Telibagh.

  8. Kalli Paschim Police Lines to Sector-18 and Sector-15: Rerouting through Masjid T-point, Himalayan Apartment and Sector-16 Canal Bridge.

  9. Kalli Paschim Police Lines Gate to Transit Hostel Crossing: Diversions via Babukheda village and Sector-16 Canal Bridge.
