UP Day to be celebrated in all glory across the state on January 24

A fleet of cultural programmes are in the pipeline for the forthcoming UP Day on January 24. The day, set to celebrate Uttar Pradesh's glorious cultural heritage, will see an array of themed activities across the state in each district. The main events will, however, be held in Lucknow, Noida and New Delhi. Some of the centres allocated for these activities are Uttar Pradesh State Archives and the Lalit Kala Akademi.

From exhibitions displaying the rich heritage and history of the state to painting camps, from throwing light on the One District One Product scheme to honouring significant sports athletes of the state, UP Day will see a diverse range of affairs. Some of these will also highlight the state's tourism potential, Mission Shakti, religious traditions of UP and showcase new tech and AI, defence machinery, agricultural and organic products.

The museum directorate, archaeology department, state archives, information department, sports department, among others, will be hosting these exhibitions. People can expect a plethora of such celebratory affairs taking place between January 24-26.
