'Wear masks in public places', advise doctors as active COVID cases reach 273 in Lucknow

The UP capital city registered as many as 60 fresh cases on Monday.

The time has arrived, yet again, when we have to pay heed to our modalities and keep checking upon people around us, mask up, and take precautions. For COVID-19 infections are on the rise again.

Uttar Pradesh witnessed a fresh surge in the cases and the count crossed 1,200. While Lucknow's active COVID case load has reached 273 active cases, with as many as 60 cases registered on Monday.

Donning masks in public places and avoiding mass gatherings have been advised by doctors.

A mock drill at health facilities across UP is also slated to be conducted today by the state health department. The aim is to note the preparedness of hospitals and check the oxygen supply systems.
