The month of April in Lucknow, which usually brings scorching heat and rising temperatures, has ended on a pleasant note this time around. And the weather in Lucknow is expected to stay pleasant for the next few days with the State Meteorological Department predicting spells of rain and below-normal temperatures in the first week of May, as well.

According to the officials at the State Met Department, a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan is likely to result in light rainfall or thunderstorms from Monday, in parts of Northwest India including cities in Uttar Pradesh.

In addition to that, a fresh western disturbance will also impact the weather in Uttar Pradesh from Monday night, that can result in strong winds and rainfall in parts of state on Tuesday (May 2).

Furthermore, the temperatures in Lucknow, that were reported below normal over the weekend, are expected to stay so, thus, spelling relief for the residents.
