Lucknow experienced an abrupt weather shift this Tuesday, accompanied by a fair amount of showers and a slight drop in temperature. According to the Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, this change was attributed to the prevailing westerly and northwesterly winds (western disturbances) in the state.

The latest forecast from IMD suggests predominantly overcast skies and breezy conditions, with occasional light drizzles expected for Lucknow. Daytime temperatures are anticipated to see a slight increase, while nighttime temperatures may slightly decrease due to the impact of western disturbances.

Several rural and semi-urban regions around Lucknow, including Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Raebareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, and Ambedkar Nagar, reportedly experienced lightning strikes accompanied by hailstorms between Tuesday and Wednesday. Although there are now reduced chances of rainfall in the UP capital, high-intensity winds are anticipated in the coming days.
