In a couple of enticing new attractions for visitors at Lucknow Zoo, six starfish have joined two sea anemones that were brought in last month. Two of the new starfish have already been put in the aquarium while preparations are being made to place the remaining into separate aquariums.

Special bacteria released in water for wellbeing of sea creatures

The new galaxy of starfish in Lucknow Zoo have been brought from Chennai and are among the commonly available varieties from a whopping 2,000 different types that exist. It must be noted that two species of starfish were brought into the Lucknow Zoo in 2019, which, unfortunately, could not survive.

As for the beautiful sea anemones that were brought to Lucknow Zoo, they have been reported to be doing well and the authorities have kept a constant eye on them. Furthermore, Lucknow Zoo authorities have also released a special bacteria into the aquariums to ensure wellbeing of all sea creatures that call the place home.
