Air India, owned by TATA, has announced significant updates to its international network, effective from 2025, aiming to boost international connectivity. The airline plans to deploy premium aircraft on key routes to Southeast Asia and Europe, following the earlier introduction of upgraded A350 and B777 aircraft on US and UK routes. Read on for more details:

More Flights, Better Features!

From January 16, 2025, retrofitted Airbus A320neo aircraft will operate all Delhi-Bangkok flights, featuring upgraded cabins across Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class, along with Vista Stream. Additionally, the frequency on this route will increase to four daily flights, enabling connections to cities like New York, Toronto, London and Paris.

Starting January 1, 2025, B787-9 will serve Delhi-Frankfurt, Mumbai-Frankfurt and Delhi-Singapore daily, while the A321neo will operate twice daily between Mumbai and Singapore. These aircraft come with advanced cabin features, including fully flat beds in Business Class and Premium Economy availability.

Air India optimises flight schedules

Starting 1 February 2025, new schedules on Delhi-Frankfurt and Delhi-Paris routes will offer more convenient day and night departures. Similarly, flights between Delhi and Australia (Sydney and Melbourne) will be retimed for improved connectivity to Europe and Southeast Asia.

These changes aim to enhance passenger convenience and cater to growing demand for premium travel options across key international destinations.
