Following yesterday's exhilarating semi-final showdown, where India emerged victorious against the New Zealand team, the entire nation is buzzing with excitement in anticipation of the upcoming final match. In honour of Team India's extraordinary performance and its qualification for the ODI finals, the Maharashtra Postal Circle has introduced a Special Cover and a Special Cancellation stamp.

In this year's ODI World Cup, Team India has maintained an unbeaten streak and set numerous records in yesterday's match at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. Mohammad Shami's outstanding performance saw him securing a total of 7 wickets throughout the series. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli surpassed Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 ODI centuries, achieving his remarkable 50th century. Consequently, the Special Cancellation stamp pays tribute to Virat Kohli's historic feat of reaching 50 centuries in ODIs.

The exclusive Special Cover stamp will be accessible at all philately bureaux throughout the Mumbai Circle. However, the distinctive Special Cancellation stamp, honouring Virat Kohli's achievement, will be exclusively available at the Mumbai Philately Bureau.
