Santa Maria, the popular sandwich shop on Waroda Road, Bandra, has announced it will be closing on August 24, 2025. Santa Maria is known for its hearty meat offerings and neighbourhood-inspired sandwich names. This popular sandwich shop in Bandra, broke the news on Instagram, admitting that the closure comes at a very short notice.
Launched on April 2, 2024, Santa Maria quickly won over locals and food lovers alike. Patrons have flooded the comments section with messages of sadness, with many lamenting missed chances to visit amid the uncertainty of Mumbai’s monsoon season.
In its farewell statement, Santa Maria wrote, “It breaks our hearts to share that we are now forced to step away… You gave us more love than we could have ever imagined, and it has carried us through.”
Santa Maria has urged Mumbaikars to stay tuned for updates, hinting at a relaunch with the words: “Keep an eye out, because soon enough, you will see a sign that reads – Santa Maria ~ Opening
