On Wednesday, the Mumbai Coastal Road Project moved closer to its final phase with the installation of the last 60-metre bridge span, linking the Coastal Road's Northbound Section to Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL). As per reports, Mumbai Coastal Road, from Bandra Worli Sea Link to Marine Drive, is all set to be thrown open for the public in January 2025. Currently, 93% of the work has been completed.

Easier commute and enhanced connectivity incoming

Once complete and opened for the public, the Mumbai Coastal Road Project will drastically reduce travel time between BWSL and Marine Drive. Furthermore, the entire project will majorly benefit areas like Worli, Churchgate, Cuffe Parade, Nariman Point, and Mumbai Central.
