Maharashtra's Department of Tourism will be organising its first-ever International Ganesh Festival in Mumbai, Pune, Ratnagiri, and Palghar, from September 18 - 28.

The primary aim of this mega 10-day festival is to attract global attention towards the rich, diverse, and inclusive culture of Maharashtra. Coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi, this festival is timed perfectly for foreign tourists to get up close and personal with the fascinating festivities across Maharashtra.

The said festival will take more than 500 tourists on a specially-curated tour across the four cities. These tours will take the interested people to Mumbai's Ganesh Galli and Siddhivinayak Temple, Pune's Shaniwar Vada, and several cultural workshops will be held in Ratnagiri and Palghar.
