Crickets fans in Mumbai, get ready for some intense cricketing action next year. The first-ever edition of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) has been launched, scheduled to kick off on March 2, 2024. The ISPL T10 tennis-ball cricket tournament in Mumbai will feature 19 matches, played between six teams.

Which teams will compete at the ISPL T10?

The ISPL will feature a total of six teams, which will be owned by franchises from Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Srinagar, and Kolkata. It is noteworthy that each of the 19 matches in the league will be played inside full-fledged cricket stadiums in Mumbai, making it a unique tennis-ball cricket tournament.

This tournament is an attempt to eliminate the gap between the streets and cricket stadiums. Furthermore, it will also provide a platform for young players from the grassroots to showcase their cricketing potential at the national level.

Apart from the opportunity to compete in huge stadiums in front of massive crowds, players participating in ISPL will also receive mentorship from seasoned players. Starting from March 2, 2024, this week-long clash between the bat and ball will culminate on March 9, 2024.
