Living in Bandra, you would have dined at Izumi or at least heard of it once—it’s practically a local favourite! Renowned for its innovative twist on modern Japanese cuisine, Izumi has been capturing hearts from the day it opened. And now, it’s back with a bang after a three-month hiatus, with a new menu, featuring gourmet dishes and refreshing cocktails.

In a city that constantly craves the new and the next, Izumi is once again raising the bar!

Izumi is calling back Mumbaikars & here’s why you must go!

Chef Nooresha Kably’s culinary quest for Izumi’s new menu, took her and a team of 12 culinary enthusiasts on a journey through Japan’s food capitals—Tokyo, Osaka, and Sapporo. After exploring markets like Sankaku, Chef Chef Nooresha sampled king crab, uni, scallops, and shrimp, to bring the best back to Bandra, as the stories go! The refreshed menu is a love letter to these Japanese experiences.

Must-try dishes include Ohitashi Tomato and Crispy Tofu Salad, Avocado Tartare, Kushi Katsu, and Cinnamon Pork Korokke. However, the Tokyo Chicken Chintan Ramen is a showstopper—a light shoyu-thyme broth paired with slurp-worthy noodles. Sweet endings come courtesy of Monaka, a wafer biscuit filled with coffee ice cream and Orange & Berry Parfait

On the drinks front, the team has introduced 18 new cocktails. Standouts include The Zen & Zest (a mix of rum/gin, yuzu, honey, ginger and basil), Uji Twilight (Sencha-infused Japanese whisky, peanut butter bourbon and Amaretto) and Tokyo Bloom (sake, gin, cherry blossom, and kaffir lime).

Knock Knock
