Hurun India Rich List 2024 | Gautam Adani overtakes Mukesh Ambani as richest Indian; SRK debuts

With a staggering fortune of ₹11.6 lakh crore, Gautam Adani has stormed to the top of the Hurun India Rich List 2024, nudging Mukesh Ambani to second place. Mukesh Ambani, with ₹1,014,700 crore, holds the runner-up spot, while Shiv Nadar and family come in third with ₹314,000 crore.

Cyrus S. Poonawalla, Gopichand Hinduja, and Radhakishan Damani continue their reign in the Top 10. This year’s list also welcomes 21-year-old Kaivalya Vohra of Zepto, the youngest billionaire with his $5 billion quick commerce startup.

And in a cinematic twist, Shah Rukh Khan has made his debut on the list, thanks to the soaring value of his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders. The entertainment industry saw a remarkable ₹40,500 crore boost this year, with seven new faces joining the Hurun India Rich Listers.
