IAF C-295 makes history with its trial landing at Navi Mumbai International Airport today!

Mumbai is set to become the 1st Indian city with two international airports.

The Navi Mumbai International Airport marked a historic milestone today with the trial landing of an Indian Air Force C-295 aircraft on its newly built 3,700-metre runway. The occasion was elevated by a thrilling flypast of a Sukhoi-30 fighter jet. Developed by Adani Group and CIDCO, the airport is currently 75% complete and is scheduled to commence domestic operations by March 2025.

With plans for four terminals and a projected annual capacity of 90 million passengers, Mumbai is set to become the first Indian city with two international airports.
