In a strategic move to bridge the AI skills gap, LTIMindtree has partnered with IIM Mumbai to launch a one year executive program in AI-led Experience Design. The blended learning course, combining online modules with immersive on-campus sessions, aims to equip mid-level professionals with cutting-edge customer experience (CX) design skills powered by AI.

Venu Lambu, CEO (Designate) of LTIMindtree, said the collaboration merges industry expertise with academic rigour to define CX in an AI-driven world. IIM Mumbai Director, Prof. Manoj Tiwari emphasised the program's role in preparing leaders for an AI-first business landscape.

The initiative aligns with a growing trend of Indian IT firms, including TCS, Infosys, and Wipro investing in AI upskilling. However, a recent Mercer-Mettl report highlights a persistent skill gap, with only 42.6% of Indian graduates deemed employable, underscoring the need for industry-academia partnerships like this.
