In a bid to address India's growing tech skill gap, IIT Bombay has introduced a flagship 12-month online Professional Certificate Programs in Cybersecurity and Software Development. Designed for working professionals, faculty, and engineering/CS students (3rd/4th year), the courses feature live faculty sessions, hands-on labs, and on-campus proctored exams.
Participants will complete three structured courses taught by IIT Bombay faculty, with weekly labs designed to mirror real-world work environments. The curriculum is aligned with industry standards and concludes with proctored on-campus exams.
With India’s cybersecurity market projected to cross $10 billion by 2025, and software development fuelling innovation across sectors, IIT Bombay hopes to equip learners for high-demand roles like Full-Stack Developer, Security Analyst, Security Architect, and DevSecOps Engineer.
