These bouts of rain are a result of monsoon's withdrawal.

For the second day running, Mumbai was drenched in continuous rainfall on Sunday, prompting a Yellow Alert from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for Monday. Expect thunderstorms with flashes of lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds that could reach between 30 and 40 km/h at isolated spots.

Now, while Hingoli and Parbhani might be on no alert, the rest of Maharashtra is under a Yellow Alert for today. Notably, these bouts of rain are a result of monsoon's withdrawal.

Meanwhile, on October 21, Mumbai’s temperatures is expected to vary between 26°C and 30°C, accompanied by a 71% relative humidity. Residents are facing a tough environment due to wind speeds reaching 71 km/h. The air quality index (AQI) has also worsened, showing a low rating of 229.

For those with respiratory issues, it's essential to take precautions to safeguard your health. Don your mask and carry your umbrellas as you head out for the day!
