The service will be provided free of cost

The Indian Railways announced to resume blankets and linens services to travellers in AC coaches now. The service is notably being resumed after a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The provision was first suspended in 2020, under the COVID-19 Management Protocols of the Indian Railways, to break the chain of coronavirus infection. However, with the pandemic fading now, the service has been resumed with immediate effect.
