IndiGo is set to make history as the first airline to launch commercial operations from the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). Starting November 2025, IndiGo will operate 18 daily flights to over 15 cities, expanding to 79 departures by the same month, including 14 international routes. By March 2026, this will grow to over 100 daily departures, reaching 140 by November 2026, with 30 international flights.

This partnership with Adani Airport Holdings marks a key milestone in India’s aviation growth, supporting the country’s goal to become the world’s third-largest aviation market by 2030.

NMIA aims to ease congestion at Mumbai’s existing airport and enhance travel experience for millions. With a capacity of 90 million passengers annually, the new airport promises to be a major hub for domestic and international travellers, revolutionising air travel in the Mumbai region.
