With thousands of spectators heading to Wankhede Stadium to watch Mumbai Indians (MI) play, metro trains are expected to be packed, and cab fares may surge due to high demand. To address this, Uber has partnered with MI to offer a free shuttle service, ensuring a smooth travel option for cricket fans. As per reports, 10 Uber Shuttle buses will operate between Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Wankhede Stadium before the match. The same buses will take passengers back to Bandra, Worli, and BKC after the game.
Open the Uber app and set Wankhede Stadium as the pickup or drop-off location.
Select the Shuttle icon and choose a preferred time slot.
Confirm the booking to reserve a seat.
Buses will depart from MMRDA Ground Parking, BKC.
Return buses will leave from Cooperage Bandstand (near Wankhede Stadium) and drop passengers at Haji Ali, Phoenix Palladium, and BKC.
Moreover, for those preferring private cabs, Mumbai Indians’ mobility partner, Uber is offering special promo codes for discounted rides to and from Wankhede Stadium.
