Adorned with 336 kg of silver and 69 kg of gold, the 'richest Ganpati of Mumbai' has been installed today at the GSB Seva Mandal at King's Circle. This Lord Ganesha idol is also referred to as MahaGanpati and Navsala Pavnaara Vishwacha Raja, by Mumbaikars.

In addition to that, the insurance cover for the MahaGanpati stands at a whopping cost of ₹360.40 crores, filed by The New India Insurance Co. Ltd. Almost every year, GSB Seva Mandal's Ganpati is the richest in Mumbai and sees a massive footfall of around 5-6 lakh devotees during Ganesh Chaturthi.
