Knocksense Shorts | Contrasting Mumbai weather to persist this week; Health Experts advise caution

Aditya Vikram

Warm afternoons in Mumbai were followed by chilling nights and early mornings, throughout this weekend. This is expected to continue as IMD has predicted the nighttime chill to intensify this week, with minimum temperature going as low as 16°C, while the maximum temperature will continue to hover around 34°C-35°C.

In view of this contrasting Mumbai weather, health experts have advised Mumbaikars to take necessary precautions. Residents have been advised to avoid sitting in the cold right after exposure to sunlight and take caution while consuming refrigerated food.

Furthermore, those who are allergic to pollution have been advised to wear masks whenever stepping outdoors. It is noteworthy that AQI levels in Mumbai are also hovering around 'Poor' levels.
