The Vande Bharat Express operating on the Mumbai-Goa Central Railway line has seen an unprecedented surge in demand due to the ongoing festive season. In view of the rush, the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat will be extended from three days a week to six days a week.

The CSMT-Madgaon-CSMT Vande Bharat will be offering daily commutes except for Fridays from November 1, 2023. With Christmas and the New Year approaching as well, the number of people travelling to and from Goa is also expected to skyrocket.

Hence, the extension of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat, which covers a distance of 586 km in just eight hours, couldn't have come more timely.
