In a highly anticipated move to establish a flagship IIM campus in the Financial Capital of India, the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) has formally been designated as the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai.

Along with this, the varsity will start offering 3 new MBA courses: MBA General, MBA in Sustainability Management and MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management. The main course previously known as Industrial Engineering at NITIE will be revamped and relaunched as MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management.

With the remodelling of the institute and the expansion of the curriculum, significant changes are on the horizon for the IIM Mumbai campus in the coming year and a half. These changes will encompass the construction of new hostels, blocks and other essential facilities to enhance the campus infrastructure.
