The heavy downpour in Mumbai has led to the flooding of suburban rail tracks, resulting in several delays and troubles for local train commuters. Adding to the woes, the CR has announced a 2-hour emergency block on the Harbour Line. As per reports, all services scheduled between 2 PM to 4 PM on the CSMT and Wadala Road have been suspended for the day.

People travelling on this route are permitted to travel on the main line, via Dadar and Kurla. Notably, BMC is working in tandem with CR to clear the tracks and revive normal services.

Those travelling on the main line can expect a delay too due to the wall collapse between Masjid and Sandhurst Road stations. Other than that, commuters on the western line may also face up to15-20 minutes of delay.
