Furthermore, this phase will connect all major financial hubs of Mumbai, covering Bandra Kurla Complex, Colaba and Aarey Colony. The second phase of the project will connect BKC with Cuffe Parade and is scheduled to be completed by June 2024.

The entire Mumbai Metro 3 line or the Aqua Line, will operate from Cuffe Parade to Aarey Colony. On its journey, this underground metro line will cover a distance of 33.5 km, featuring 27 stations. According to officials, it is expected to become the busiest single line in Mumbai.
