The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), also known as Atal Setu, is all set to be inaugurated on Friday, January 12. Leading up to the opening, Mumbai Police have announced a speed limit for vehicles on the bridge, among other restrictions.

The maximum speed limit for four-wheelers on the Atal Setu Bridge will be 100 kmph, which will be restricted to 40 kmph on the bridge's ascent and descent. In additional restrictions, no entry will be allowed on the bridge for two-wheelers and three-wheelers.

This means that bikes, mopeds, tractors, autos, vehicles drawn by animals, and slow-moving vehicles will not be allowed on the sea bridge in Mumbai. Named after former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, India's longest sea bridge will be inaugurated on Friday by India's PM.
