Mumbai's CSMI Airport has gone back to the pre-pandemic boost in passenger traffic. The airport has crossed the October 2019 passenger traffic numbers with a solid 107% recovery in October 2023.

Furthermore, traffic at Mumbai airport registered a growth of 18% in October 2023, compared to the same month last year. On a year-on-year basis, the CSMI Airport has also notched a strong 20% growth in international flights.

It is noteworthy that Mumbai Airport is planning to add several new routes to further enhance its global connectivity. These plans include collaboration with Azerbaijan Airlines, Uganda Airlines, and Air Canada, among others.
