In view of the ongoing non-interlocking work for the 6th Khar-Goregaon line, a total of 2,525 suburban train services have been cancelled till November 6, 2023. Out of the suspended Mumbai Locals, up to 316 will be canceled on a daily basis. Furthermore, services towards Churchgate and Virar/Dahanu will be the worst affected due to these disruptions.

It is noteworthy that once constructed, the 6th line between Khar and Goregaon will significantly enhance the capacity of Mumbai's suburban train services. But as the work inches closer to completion, daily commuters will have to face a few days of inconvenience.
