Knocksense Shorts| Over 50 per cent of Mumbai Coastal Road Project completed

The entire project is set to be completed by the end of 2023.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) recently announced the completion of 58% of the Mumbai Coastal Road Project (South), which runs from Princess St. at Marine Drive, to the Worli end of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. This 10.58 km long project's estimated cost is over Rs 12,700 crore.

There will be two tunnels of 2.07 km each on both sides. As per reports, the tunnel from Priyadarshini Park to Netaji Subhash Marg (Marine Drive) is already completed, while 39% of the other tunnel is completed.

According to Civic Authorities, 97% of the Coastal Road reclamation has also been completed. The Project began in late 2018 and is set to be completed by November 2023.
