With an explosion of energy, Kshitij’24: The Arcade Ware-House at SVKM’s Mithibai College, Vile Parle West, officially began on January 8, 2025. The festival was inaugurated by the college's renowned Krutika Ma’am, setting the stage for what is expected to be a celebration of talent and diversity.
With its creative spirit, Kshitij’24 promises to offer a platform for students to showcase their skills and engage in a variety of cultural experiences. Day 1 of the event was a successful hit, more on that soon.
Day 1 kicked off with events like Warcade Mayhem, a high-octane gaming showdown. Fight Club (MMA) brought out some serious grit as participants went head-to-head, while Bend It Like Beckham turned the football field into a battleground.
Creative brilliance took centre stage in events like Vinyl Visuals, where music album covers were reimagined, and Pickle Powerplay, which kept everyone on their toes. Wedding Icon brought solo fashion to life, while Divine Impressions showcased the magic of make-up artistry.
Bollywood Raga had the crowd singing along to soulful solos, 7 to Smoke brought the heat with street dance moves, and Cypher Clash had rapping talents spitting fire!
Adding to the intellectual richness of the day were Dino James and Shahrul in conversation with Tarsame Mittal, offering invaluable insights into the industry. Later in the evening, Aman Devgn and Raasha joined the festival. However, the crowning jewel of the day was the extraordinary Pronite, where Sonu Nigam took centre stage. His magical voice and repertoire of timeless classics captivated the audience.
Overall, Day 1 was a whole vibe—and it’s only getting started!
