The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cloudy skies with moderate rain across Mumbai today, July 29. Temperatures will hover between 26.8°C and 27.7°C, with rainfall expected to intensify in the late afternoon. High tide (4.23m) at 3:04 PM may cause minor waterlogging, prompting commuters to stay cautious.

Moreover, the week ahead will remain wet, with patchy showers on Thursday-Friday and lighter rains over the weekend. Meanwhile, Mumbai’s water supply lakes are nearing full capacity, with the seven reservoirs collectively holding 88.38% (12.79 lakh million litres) of their total stock. Modak Sagar is 100% full, while Tansa follows closely at 98.41%.

Mumbaikars are advised to stay updated on weather alerts and avoid low-lying areas during heavy spells.
