Travellers are advised to check the website for updates.

Western Railway has announced a major update for passengers of the Bandra Terminus–Surat Intercity Express. Starting August 7, 2025, the train will resume its original route, terminating and originating at Surat Station, instead of Udhna. This change follows the completion of ongoing infrastructural work at Udhna, where the train had been temporarily rerouted.

No Udhna stops from August 7

The updated schedule means-

  • 12935 Bandra–Surat will now terminate at Surat at 10:35 AM (instead of Udhna).

  • 12936 Surat–Bandra will depart from Surat at 4:25 PM, skipping Udhna entirely.

  • No halts at Udhna in either direction, streamlining travel for Surat passengers.

Officials cite passenger convenience and operational ease for the change. Travellers should check www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in for updates.
